Help Keep Our Soldiers Safe in Ukraine
Our brave soldiers in Ukraine are risking their lives every day to protect our freedom and security. The dangers they face are real and ever-present, and we must do everything in our power to support them in their mission. That’s why we are asking for your help in providing essential drone equipment to these heroes.
Drones have proven to be a critical tool in keeping our soldiers safe, allowing them to detect potential threats and respond to emergencies more quickly and effectively. With your donation, we can continue to provide our soldiers with the latest drone technology, giving them the necessary tools to carry out their missions and return home safely to their loved ones.
We cannot overstate the importance of this cause. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a significant impact in supporting our soldiers and keeping them safe. We owe it to these brave men and women to provide them with the best equipment possible and to show our appreciation for their sacrifice.
Drone Shields and Detectors
Drone shields (also sometimes referred to as drone jammers or REBs) are an incredibly important piece of equipment for saving lives of defenders and first responders near the front lines. Russian troops regularly use FPV 'suicide' drones and other 'bomber' drones to attack Ukrainian defenders, first responders, and medics with devastating consequences. Drones are one of the, if not the, biggest threat in many areas near the front lines. One of the only ways to effectively combat this threat is by using high quality drone shields, which jam the signal of the enemy drones, rending them useless and ineffective. Units also often need drone detectors so that defenders and first responders know if a drone is in the area preparing to attack. SOF regularly supplies high quality drone shields and detectors to Ukrainian units and first responders, which regularly save lives. However, many more are needed. Donating towards drone detectors and shields is one of the best ways you can help save lives!
Communication & Power Devices
Communication devices such as reliable radios, Starlink systems, generators, power banks, and antennas are critical to coordinate medical aid, power essential equipment, keep defenders and first responders safe and coordinate defense efforts. SOF regularly provides these essential devices to defenders and first responders on the front lines based on their specific requests. Donations to this project ensure those defending Ukraine have the tools they need to succeed!
Emergency Medical Supplies
SOF regularly supplies critical medical supplies for Ukrainian first responders and front line units. These supplies are essential to saving the lives of defenders, first responders and civilians every day. Examples of prior donations supplied by SOF include high quality CAT 7 tourniquets, IFAK first aid kits, hemostatic gauze, emergency bandages, evacuation litters, medical backpacks, emergency medicine, and many other supplies. SOF provides these supplies based on direct feedback we receive from front line medics who regularly notify SOF of their most pressing current needs. Medical supplies are usually supplied within weeks or days of the requests when funding is available and numerous units have reported that supplies provided by SOF have saved many lives. These supplies are constantly being exhausted unfortunately due to the brutal nature of the war and so must be constantly resupplied. Government aid generally focuses on military equipment rather than medical supplies, and thus, these first responders and defenders rely heavily on non-profits like SOF to provide critical medical supplies. Your donations for medical supplies save lives and make a huge difference!
Optics for Heroes
Optical devices including binoculars, night vision devices, and thermal devices are critical to allowing Ukrainian defenders and first responders to defend against attacks at night. These devices allow for movement at night when many of the casualty evacuations take place and early warning of enemy night attacks. Night vision devices are also used to detect and counter night time drone attacks and avoid mine fields and other dangers because drivers can drive using night vision rather than vehicle lights, which are easily detected and can be deadly. As such, optics are one of the most frequently-requested and important pieces of gear requested by Ukrainian units and first responders. Governments have provided some devices, but nowhere near the number needed leaving some units with few or none at all. Your donation to optics helps save lives and give those protecting freedom the capabilities they need to succeed!
