Join us for the 44th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade, one of the largest celebrations in the United States honoring Dr. King’s legacy! Experience vibrant floats, dynamic High School Bands, Drill Teams, Colleges, Universities, and diverse organizations all coming together to celebrate the values of freedom, justice, and equality.
This year, House of Ukraine and Shield of Freedom are proud to join forces to represent Ukraine in this iconic parade. Together, we will carry a magnificent 40-meter Ukrainian flag, reminding everyone that Ukraine stands strong in the fight for freedom and democracy for all. Look out for the floating stage, featuring a live musical performance by U3Zub — a dynamic Ukrainian folk-rock band bringing energy, tradition, and the spirit of resilience to the parade route!
We need at least 30 participants to:
- Wear traditional Vyshyvankas or blue-and-yellow attire
- Carry signs and flags (extras will be provided!)
Meeting Point: In front of the County Building (details on our parade position will be shared closer to the event).
