June 20 @ 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Gloria Molina Grand Park
200 N Grand Ave
Los Angeles, CA 90012 United States
Join us for a powerful public installation honoring the more than 20,000 Ukrainian children who have been unlawfully deported or forcibly transferred by Russia since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
On June 20, thousands of teddy bears—each representing a Ukrainian child separated from their family, community, language, and identity—will be displayed on towering fence panels stretching more than 200 feet across Gloria Molina Grand Park. Together, they form a striking message:
“Putin abducted 20,000 Ukrainian children. Bring Kids Back.”
The installation serves as a visual reminder of one of the gravest humanitarian crimes of the war and calls on world leaders to make the return of Ukraine’s children a non-negotiable priority in any discussions about peace.
Press Conference
1:00 PM
Community leaders, elected officials, faith leaders, advocates, members of the Ukrainian-American community, and partner organizations will speak about the urgent need to secure the return of abducted Ukrainian children and hold those responsible accountable.
About the Installation
The “Bring Kids Back” installation was created by Razom for Ukraine in partnership with the American Coalition for Ukraine and was first displayed in Washington, D.C., in April 2026. It is now touring cities across the United States to raise awareness and inspire action.
The Los Angeles installation is presented by Globe 4 Ukraine and Shield of Freedom and is bringing national and local attention to the ongoing plight of Ukraine’s stolen children.
Attend and Take Action
The installation is free and open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to stop by, learn more about the issue, take photos, share the message, and stand in solidarity with Ukrainian families whose children have yet to return home.
Because no war can truly end while children remain separated from their families.
