We are thrilled to share some incredible news about Wheels of Hope with you! Thanks to everyone’s overwhelming generosity, we have successfully raised over $51,000 in our campaign to deliver a fully equipped ambulance to a frontline medical team in Ukraine. This achievement marks one of our most successful fundraisers yet, and we couldn't have done it without each and every one of you! Because we raised more than the cost of an ambulance it allowed us to cover many outstanding requests for smaller medical evacuation vehicles and generators as well. In the last three weeks we have delivered two vehicles, and we have 5 more pending.
This will be the first fully equipped ambulance Shield of Freedom has sourced and it will serve as a mobile lifeline, enabling medics to stabilize the wounded and get them to the hospitals faster. Smaller 4x4 vehicles help evacuate wounded from the frontlines. In a war where every minute can mean the difference between life and death, reliable medical transport saves lives, preserves limbs, and gives the injured a fighting chance to survive.
